Life happens. Be Prepared. Trip cancellation/interruption and medical travel insurance is available for visitors to Canada and Canadians. For your peace of mind, and to avoid any financial hardship that an unexpected cancellation, interruption or medical emergency could cause, we strongly recommend contacting Uniglobe Specialty Travel to receive trip insurance details and a quote. 

CMH Heli-Skiing Cancellation Policies

If you must cancel your trip, the following information outlines your options. Please be aware that the timing of your cancellation affects the options available to you. 

Winter 2026/27 Season

More than 90 days before trip

  • Space replacement: No fee
  • Rebook within same season: $250 administration fee

 

90–30 days before trip

  • Space replacement: $250 administration fee
  • Rebook within same season: Forfeit 20% of trip cost

 

Less than 30 days before trip

  • Space replacement: $250 administration fee
  • Rebook within same season: 50% penalty of trip cost

Space replacement (at any time)

  • Restriction: Full refund on what you have paid for an individual space once your replacement has paid the total amount owing.
  • Additional Fee: $250 administration fee (if less than 90 days before trip)

 

Rebooking

  • Restriction: Not available

 

Full cancellation (90+ days before trip start)

  • Restriction: Deposit is non-refundable

 

Full cancellation (less than 90 days before trip start)

  • Restriction: Deposit and balance are non-refundable

Space replacement (at any time)

  • Restriction: If one person or multiple people on the trip cancel, the group is responsible for finding a space replacement(s). If replacement(s) cannot be found, the remaining guests are financially responsible for the cancelled space(s).

 

Rebooking (126+ days before trip start)

  • Restriction: If the entire group cancels, all funds can be transferred to book any available, new private trip during the same winter season, subject to availability. The group is responsible for any price increase. If no availability exists, full cancellation rules apply.

 

Rebooking (less than 126 days before trip start)

  • Restriction: Not available

 

Full cancellation (126+ days before trip start)

  • Restriction: Your deposit paid is non-refundable.

 

Full cancellation (less than 126 days before trip start)

  • Restriction: Your deposit and balance are non-refundable.

Standard cancellation policy for non-skiers 

If a non-skier cancels their trip, the skier cancellation policy of the trip that they are on applies (Standard, Private or Lodge Buy-out).
 

*Space replacements: 

  • For safety reasons, a valid space replacement is subject to the new guest's weight and ski ability being appropriate for the program they are joining
  • The replacement guest pays the current trip price at the time of their booking
  • A $250 administration fee applies to all space replacements, except when made more than 90 days before the trip
